The 12 Floofs of Christmas! (from the WI Humane Society)

Every Thursday, I venture off to the WI Humane Society's Milwaukee Campus, and my girl Stacy there (their Media Coordinator) takes me around to meet all of the floofs! Floofs include but are not limited to dogs, cats, bunnies and guinea pigs.

This year, we are highlighting 12 floofs who are looking for their forever home this holiday season! Thank you to Stacy for putting this all together for us to share!

My husband & I were lucky enough to get our best doggo friend, Freddie Jackson, from them - he is NOT up for adoption but honestly ... how insanely cute is he?! We're still not sure what his breed is - but my guess is he's a Long Legged Spotted Wonder (a VERY rare breed that I definitely did not just make up!).

Ok, enough about our rockstar ... let's talk about your future fur babe!

The 12 Floofs of Christmas with the Wisconsin Humane Society, powered by the Wisconsin State Fair!

(If you aren't able to adopt this holiday season, check out all of the other ways you can give and help the floofs here!)

1.Trixie : Trixie is a sweet-as-can-be 5-year-old, 45-pound pup. This lovely girl was born with a front, right leg deformity that doesn’t seem to slow her down one bit. Trixie is ready to find a family to call her own and she’s available for adoption at the WHS Ozaukee Campus.

2.Rooney : 3-year-old Rooney is a bit shy upon first meeting, but a couple tasty treats and gentle pets bring her out of her shell. This darling dog weighs 43 pounds and her true personality shines once she’s feeling comfortable. Stop by the WHS Milwaukee Campus to see if Rooney is a match for you.

3.Sugar : Sugar is a super senior at 13 years old. This golden girl weighs just 11 pounds and she’s looking for a calm and quiet place to call home. Sugar has shown signs of decreased ability to hear and prefers to take her time getting to know you. Meet this cutie at the WHS Milwaukee Campus.

4.Draco : Draco is a playful 10-month-old pup ready for adventure. This joyful boy weighs 48 pounds and can’t wait to meet his new loving family. He’s sure to bring lots of laughs with his bubbly personality. Stop by the WHS Milwaukee Campus to see if dashing Draco is the one for you.

5.Levi : Levi is an independent cat ready to settle into a quiet home. This 7-year-old boy has a sleek black coat and stunning yellow eyes. He weighs almost 10 pounds and appreciates some space as he gets to know his new environment. Name your own adoption fee for Levi at the WHS Milwaukee Campus.

6.Suzie : Miss Suzie is a big, beautiful kitty with a super soft gray and white coat and captivating green eyes. Two years old and almost 12 pounds, Suzie is a reserved girl that would appreciate a little extra time to adjust to her new home. If you have a quiet space for a lovely cat to settle into, visit Suzie at the WHS Milwaukee Campus to see if she’s a great fit for you.

7.Merriweather : A reserved, quiet kitty, Merriweather is a majestic calico-colored Persian mix. This sweet and petite gal is 2 years old and weighs just 6 pounds. She would appreciate some time and space to acclimate in her new home and let her true personality come out. Merriweather is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped at our Milwaukee Campus, and you can name your own adoption fee to make her part of the family.

8.Max & Diesel : The more the merrier – Max and Diesel are a required pair of precious pups at the WHS Milwaukee Campus. These two 9-year-old boys have been together their entire lives and need to go to the same home. They each weigh around 30 pounds and are fun and friendly once they feel comfortable with you. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped like all dogs at WHS, Max & Diesel are ready to cozy up under your Christmas tree.

(My side note ... I'm OBSESSED with these 2!!! I've loved visiting with them at the MKE Campus!)

9.Hennessey : Hennessey is sure to bring a good time to your holidays! This adorable 3-year-old guinea pig is a friendly and social guy that enjoys being held. He weighs just 3 pounds but is on the larger side for a guinea. Hennessey is a staff favorite at our Milwaukee Campus, so come see what all the cheers-ing is about!

10.Bentley : Little Bentley is just over a year old and weighs less than 10 pounds. While this gentle boy can be timid at first, a little patience and a couple treats will have him wagging his tail in no time. Bentley confidently walks on a leash and would love nothing more than a loving home in time for Christmas. See if Bentley is a great match for you by visiting our Milwaukee Campus.

11.Golden : Golden is a happy-go-lucky 1-year-old pup with the best smile. His exuberance is contagious, and he’d love to be your trusty adventure sidekick. Golden weighs 58 pounds and although his name indicates he might play for the Packers, he is only a loyal fan. Stop by the WHS Milwaukee Campus to meet him!

12.Smoke : Looking for a larger-than-life best bud? Smoke is 95 pounds of affection. This handsome gentleman is almost 2 years old and has received stellar reviews from volunteers for walking calmly on leash and taking treats as gently as can be. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for extra love this holiday season. Visit the WHS Milwaukee Campus to see if Smoke is the one for you!
